With more than 30 years of legal experience and over 40 years in the real estate industry, Attorney Robert J. Anaya brings unmatched depth, precision, and personal commitment to every client he represents. Before entering private practice, Robert served as a Deputy District Attorney in Madera, Merced, and Del Norte Counties, successfully prosecuting a wide range of criminal matters. This early courtroom experience laid the foundation for the strong litigation skills he now applies across his civil practice.

Robert’s real estate background is extensive. After four decades as a licensed real estate broker—now retired—he has developed a sophisticated understanding of property law, title issues, and land-use matters. He has litigated and resolved complex disputes involving preliminary title report exceptions, quiet title actions, breach of contract, partition, specific performance, and eminent domain. His transactional and advisory work includes structural and non‑structural rights‑of‑way, easement acquisition and 

abandonment, utility pathways, and the interpretation of County Recorder documents such as parcel maps, subdivision maps, and records of survey. He has also served as a mediator for the California Association of REALTORS®, assisting parties in resolving real estate conflicts efficiently and professionally.

In addition to his real estate experience, Robert is an experienced litigator in personal injury, bankruptcy, and select family law matters. He has prosecuted and defended numerous injury claims, helped consumers obtain debt relief through bankruptcy protection, and safeguarded homeowners facing foreclosure. His broad legal background allows him to identify issues that intersect with real estate—such as creditor claims, property division, or liability concerns—and provide comprehensive guidance.
